What makes Brookfield Barn the perfect wedding venue?
Our beautiful barn overlooking the lake is such a picturesque setting for a wedding. The venue is so peaceful, I love being able to hear the sounds of nature. I love how we can offer so much flexibility to our couples, helping them bring their personality into their day.
What would be your best piece of advice for couples getting married at Brookfield Barn?
Always have a plan B! Whilst we have a beautiful outside ceremony space, we can’t control mother nature. Make sure you have some plans for how to dress the inside of the venue, too, just in the heavens decide to open!
What makes you so passionate about working in the wedding industry?
My first experience of the wedding industry was then I was just 13 years old! Since then, I’ve worked in wedding and event organisation for over five years. I’ve been at Brookfield Barn since August 2022. I absolutely love helping couples plan and organise their day, seeing it come to life is the best feeling!
What makes Brookfield Barn the perfect wedding venue?
We’re lucky to have such an amazing team who are there to support couples as much or as little as they require. Some of our couples really feel as though they need a lot of support when planning their special day and with our wealth of experience, we can be as involved as much as you like, providing advice and encouragement along the way.
We also run your weddings on the day to ensure that all your fine details become a reality, from welcoming suppliers, to fluffing your wedding dress before you walk down the aisle, to organising your confetti shot.
I absolutely love our outside ceremony space – it’s so quiet and peaceful, definitely the perfect place to say ‘I do’! Our barn itself has been purpose-built with weddings in mind, meaning the day flows absolutely seamlessly.
What would be your best piece of advice for couples getting married at Brookfield Barn?
Intention. Every decision should be made intentionally, from the heart. Put your energy and focus into what you are passionate about and as long as your decisions are made purposefully, your wedding will be a true reflection of you both as a couple.
What makes you so passionate about working in the wedding industry?
Officially, it’s been nine years, however my mum is also in the industry so I’ve grown up helping her with weddings! I love love. I think weddings are an incredible opportunity for you to celebrate your love with your friends and family highlighting just how special you are. I feel very honoured to witness and be a part of such an exciting and special time for my couples, helping their wedding dreams become a reality.
What makes Brookfield Barn the perfect wedding venue?
The beautiful views, the relaxed atmosphere and the ‘home away from home’ feeling that you get as soon as you walk through the doors.
What would be your best piece of advice for couples getting married at Brookfield Barn?
As the ceremony music beings to play you will get an overwhelming sensation of excitement and nervousness. My advice is when you both see each other for the first time, don’t worry about anyone else in the room just keep looking at one another and you will feel safe and at ease.
What makes you so passionate about working in the wedding industry?
I’ve only been in the wedding industry for a year now, but I love to meet excited couples and help them enjoy the wedding planning journey.

The amazing views, the relaxed atmosphere of the venue and the discreet and friendly service provided by the team throughout.
What would be your best piece of advice for couples getting married at Brookfield Barn?
Don’t try to micro-manage the day! 50, 70, 130 guests will never behave the way you envisage, so there has to be flexibility factored into all your plans. We are experts at managing people and plans, so let us operate the day for you, that way you can enjoy your special day, enjoy a glass or three of fizz with your closest friends and family. It will be over all too quickly, stand back relax and enjoy, let us do the hard work!
What makes you so passionate about working in the wedding industry?
I have been organising and running events and parties for nearly 30 years, with my first wedding being 20 years ago. The thrill of a wedding is watching the guests faces, excitement on arrival, joy at the ceremony, indulgence when the food and drinks start to flow and then sheer pleasure when the music and dancing start in the evening.
Where glorious countryside meets breathtaking lakeside views. Where you can say ‘I do’ at the water’s edge and celebrate under enchanting oak beams. Private, peaceful and picturesque.
