We’re always looking for ways to enhance your wedding day and make it feel even more effortless, personal, and unforgettable. That’s why, in 2026, we’re delighted to be adding three beautiful new spaces to our lakeside venue!
From serene morning preparations to peaceful overnight stays, these additions are designed to complement our countryside setting and reflect the rustic charm couples love about Brookfield Barn.
At Brookfield Barn, we’ve always offered a calm and elegant space for getting ready before the celebrations begin, but now, for the first time, both partners will have their own dedicated retreat. Lakeview and The Lodge have been thoughtfully designed to complement one another, offering comfort, style, and a touch of countryside charm for every couple.
Whether you’re preparing with your wedding party, taking a quiet moment to relax, or raising a glass before the ceremony, these new spaces ensure the morning of your wedding feels just as special as the day itself.
Introducing Lakeview, our brand new dressing room designed to be a calm and elegant retreat before the celebration begins. Opening in early 2026, this light-filled space will overlook the water and combine comfort, functionality, and timeless style to create the perfect setting for getting ready, relaxing, and enjoying the morning with your wedding party.
Inside, we’re creating a comfortable and light-filled preparation lounge, a separate, private changing room, a shower room, and a bar area.
Our dedicated changing area will offer you the opportunity to have a little privacy whilst you get dressed, offering you an exciting “reveal moment” once you’re all ready. Inside, floor-to-ceiling mirrors will be ideal for viewing dresses, and there will be plenty of space for helping hands.
The main preparation and relaxation area will open onto a private decked terrace with sweeping waterside views, flooding the space with natural light. Two thoughtfully positioned hair and makeup stations will make the most of the daylight. The relaxation zone, featuring comfortable sofas and chairs, will be a welcoming spot to unwind, chat, or enjoy a glass of something chilled with your wedding party.
On the subject of something chilled, if you’d like to pop some bubbly on your wedding morning, we can supply pre-wedding drinks from Lakeview’s stylish self-serve bar area. We also have delicious sharing boards available to order to keep energy levels high before the celebrations.
Outside, we’re creating a seating area on the terrace that overlooks the lake. This will make a beautiful spot for photographs and quiet moments before the ceremony.
Lakeview will be finished in a soft, neutral palette that complements every colour scheme and theme. Its natural textures and refined detailing will connect the space to the surrounding countryside, offering a private sanctuary that feels calm, versatile, and unmistakably Brookfield.
Please note that our existing Preparation Room will still be used for weddings before Lakeview opens.
Opening in early 2026, The Lodge will offer a cosy, characterful space for wedding parties to prepare and unwind before the ceremony. Designed with a nod to the charm of a countryside lodge, this space will blend warmth, practicality, and rustic elegance, creating a relaxed atmosphere that feels perfectly at home within Brookfield’s lakeside surroundings.
Inside, guests will find comfortable seating and a welcoming faux fireplace, creating a calm focal point and plenty of room to share a drink or enjoy a few quiet moments before the celebration begins.
Our retro vinyl record player will provide the soundtrack to your preparations – bring your own LPs or choose from our classic selection to set the tone for the morning. Meanwhile, the kitchen and bar area will make an ideal spot for beers and breakfast (you can pre-order these from us and we’ll make sure they’re ready for your arrival).
Natural materials such as wood and faux leather will feature throughout, complemented by soft, earthy tones and gentle lighting to create a space that feels both grounded and refined. The Lodge will also open onto an outdoor area, ideal for enjoying the fresh air on warm days and offering a beautiful backdrop for pre-wedding photographs.
Located beside the outdoor ceremony area, this new addition will feel deeply connected to the landscape, with views of the surrounding countryside that enhance its sense of calm and authenticity.
Our newest bedroom will extend Brookfield Barn’s signature warmth and style into an inviting overnight retreat. Designed with relaxation in mind, the room will combine homely comfort with elegant detailing, creating a beautiful space for your guests to unwind after the celebrations.
Styled in a calm, countryside-inspired palette, the design will layer tactile fabrics, soft rugs, and accent cushions in muted pinks and greens to create a sense of warmth and tranquillity. Every detail will reflect the natural beauty that surrounds Brookfield Barn, creating a restful space where guests can wake to peaceful views and begin the day feeling refreshed.
We’re hoping to have the room ready for its first guests around Easter 2026, but check back here for regular updates.
