Your initial payment is £750 of your venue hire fee plus your initial catering payment of £900 (inclusive of VAT).

You can use The Wedding Preparation Room before your wedding if you prefer a church wedding. Alternatively, you may choose to arrive at Brookfield Barn after your wedding ceremony.

Yes, we have The Wedding Preparation Room which includes hair and makeup stations and a comfortable seating area. This space is available from 9 am the morning of your wedding.
We love (well-behaved) dogs and appreciate that they are a huge part of your family. They are welcome to join you for the ceremony and photographs, and we have dog-friendly bedroom. You must provide your own crate. If you wish to bring your dog(s) along, please ask to see our dog policy.

Brookfield Barn is wheelchair accessible. We have step-free access from the car park and a wheelchair lift in the venue. We also have a fully accessible bedroom (Saxony) for overnight guests.
A fantastic team of in-house chefs provide all of our catering. It is not possible to use your own caterers.
We strongly recommend that you take out wedding insurance. Weddings are a big investment, and fingers crossed that you’ll never need to call on your insurance, but having it in place will cover you for a range of eventualities.
Some candles may be permitted at Brookfield Barn, however, they will need to be placed in suitable candle holders and approved by the events team. Battery operated candles and fairy lights are also a great alternative. Please speak to your event manager for further information.
Yes, but we only permit real petal confetti and for it to be thrown outside.
Yes! We have our very own photo booth at Brookfield Barn which you can use on your wedding day. There are two different packages available, as well as the option to personalise your prints, all of which can be booked through our Events Team (get in touch for more info).
Yes, we provide 2 microphones in the barn connected to the speakers and the web stream for optimal audio throughout the room.
Yes, we have an integrated music and PA system throughout the barn, bar and another in the outside ceremony area. During the welcome drinks and wedding breakfast, you can supply us with your own playlists to have on in the background.
No, both bands and DJs are able to play in the barn and there is no sound limiter in place. That said we recommend them playing around 96 dcb to maintain a comfortable atmosphere without the music becoming overly loud.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any glitter or gem make-up stations or activities indoors or outdoors, due to our lakeside location.

Every event we host here is unique, so we do not have a standard pricing package. Instead, we speak with you directly to create a bespoke package that suits you and your event.

We have 50 spaces in our car park, plus an overflow car park. Cars can be left overnight but must be collected by 10 am the next day. All cars are left at the owner’s own risk.

Our bar is usually open ahead of a wedding ceremony. Please note that the bar closes 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Please speak to the wedding couple about the exact timings of the day.

Once you have booked your wedding or event date, we will share a link to the website and a secret code with you, which will unlock the bedrooms for the night of your wedding or event. You can then book the rooms you want and then share the code with your guests to reserve their rooms.
This may be possible if we do not have an event booking the day before. We can confirm this closer to the wedding or event date.
We will release the night before the wedding date four months prior. Please note that we require a minimum of five bedrooms to be booked. We can open the bar and offer a meal if desired for night-before stays.
