Hello lovely couples (and soon-to-be newlyweds!) 👋
I’m Megan, a wedding singer lucky enough to be one of the recommended suppliers at the stunning Brookfield Barn – and honestly, it’s the dream gig! I get to work in this picture-perfect venue, surrounded by incredible staff (who are just as lovely as they are organised!) and the most gorgeous, loved-up couples. It really is a joy from start to finish – every. single. time.
If you’ve chosen Brookfield Barn for your big day – firstly, excellent choice! You’ve got the barn, the views, the team… and maybe even me 😉. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of singing couples down the aisle, entertaining during drinks receptions, and serenading first dances at many venues, including this one – and I’d love to share a few little tips from the musical side of your wedding day!
One thing I always say to my couples: timings matter – especially for your aisle entrance song!
Your entrance is such a powerful and emotional moment, and I want that perfect part of the song – the bit that gives you goosebumps – to kick in exactly when you start walking. Whether it’s a heartfelt ballad or a romantic acoustic cover, let’s plan the timing so the moment is magic. Trust me, you’ll remember it forever (and so will your guests).
This one often slips through the cracks – but it’s one of my favourites! Having an upbeat, joyful confetti-throwing song makes this part of your day feel like your very own movie moment. It sets the tone for the drinks reception and gets everyone smiling and swaying. Think fun, celebratory, and full of personality – and yes, I’ve got a playlist ready if you need inspo!
Okay, this is less about music and more about the heart of your day. I know it’s tempting to worry about guests, timings, food, weather… but take it from someone who’s seen a lot of weddings: everyone is having a ball. All that matters is you two – celebrating your love. So sing, laugh, cry (happy tears!), and take it all in. This day is yours.
So, whether I’m playing your aisle song, leading a confetti walk, or soundtracking your champagne clinks and cake cutting – I’m there to make it magical, memorable, and 100% you.
